Have you heard the news?

Hottie just let me know that John Hughes had died, so wierd he was 59 taking a walk. I'm 48 almost 49 and he really in a way defined a generation. Yeah,I know that the outcry for Jackson was huge! But this guy was real, someone to identify with, someone who got inside our heads and lived what we lived! It's almost like when you hear song and you are cast back to a time when evrything was right. When everyone knew your name, a feeling that life was for the taking and your mortality was not an issue. A time when the little guy had a voice and those who thought they ran the world were simply a joke! Chasing what they believed to be nirvana, but what you and I knew was pure BS. Long live freedom and creativity, telling the man to jam it! And of course the fact the we held the only oyster with a pearl! John we will miss you and all that you inspired!
