The Ride

Well it all began with a simple request from Hottie. We were running a little low on soda, now anyone who follows my podcast or blog know that we currently in the middle of nowhere. Now when I say nowhere I mean 12 miles from what would have been a stage stop in the old west (and not a very popular one). To get there from our hacienda you must first traverse 8.9 miles of primitive road! As some of know I ride a green machine Little Peppie a 50cc scooter capable of a blistering 43mph flat out. Now on a downgrade with a tail wind I can exceed normal limits and hit speeds of up to 64mph, off course up hill my progress can deep to 10mph. So I decide to ride little peppie to town to grab some soda, a subway sammy, and some smokes for (I likes to smoke when I eat Hottie).
I check the air in little peps rubbers, fill him up with gas and of course check the oil. Grab my helmet and hit the road. First I realize that lp's suspension travel is not that of a normal off road vehicle. I quickly realize the genius of standing up when negotiating the rougher sections of the ride. After a few close "OH SH%$%^T calls" In a mere 29 minutes I arrive at real asphalt and begin what began as such a pleasant ride through the birthplace of the Mother Road. At this point the wind as picked up considerately and I'm off directly into the wind. Have you ever seen a bird in the wind that seems to float and go nowhere while trying to fly into the wind? I can tell you you the feeling is glorious for about 30 seconds then I began having flashbacks to my childhood in the family car and my brother and I asking my continually are we there yet.
I do finally arrive order a couple of subs then to the local store. And has usual they don't have the soda I need so I buy a couple of things then off to store number two. I finally stock little peppie with all that is needed for a couple more days at our boon dock abode, as I prepare to mount little peppie I'm questioned by a couple of the locals. Little Peppie has caught their attention the first comment lobbed my way is from one of two ladies bargaining with the schwan guy. They are impressed with the way lp's seat can be raised to open a storage area for my supplies they begin to advise me on how I should pack lps compartment properly. I finally break free from ant Bea and Felma Lou and begin the trek back to the road. Somehow from the time I had left the house till now the wind had completely reversed itself and I now fighting the wind again.
I reach the dirt road check my clock and discover I have missed a check in time with Hottie, I should explain our cell phones work everywhere except where we live and I mean where we live I can walk up on the mountain a couple hundred yards and I can get out. Anyway I pull out a walkie talkie type radio that Hottie and have brought to communicate during these times. I make a check in call then I'm off. I'm now fighting the wind which is in my face. This presents dust head on and a barrage of tumble weeds testing Little Peppie and my ability to take a hit and keep going. As I run this gauntlet I miss a cue to stand up during a intense washboard section. I now realize that I should brought some type of balm at the store. I'm now contemplating singing falsetto in the local choir. Next I discover I'm being dogged, literally by two prairie dogs who are out running little peppie! These little critters actually were able to hold a speed of like 7 mile an hour for about 200 yards. The little guys disappear as fast as they appeared then I discover why. I've picked up a tail it's group of vultures who must think I'm not going to make it! This increases my will to survive and I remember all my boy scout training. suddenly I have this urge to go on to out run these vultures little Peppie and I hit the gas dodge some wild donkeys, run through some heavy brush and I break free not more than a half mile from home. Well I arrive and all is well.
I tell Hottie of my adventure she simply replies "Whatever"

That's all for now please check the Podcast! Oh and look at this school play below!

Happy Friday!

First let's say goodbye to Fess Parker, you who are young are saying WHO? He was Daniel Boone on the 1960 television series. When I was a kid I watched this show every week. He also did a lot of Walt Disney stuff, life Davy Crockett.

A few thoughts on American Idol Hottie who loves reality shows has got me hooked on a couple which is simply to say if I want to watch TV with Hottie then I watch reality shows. Well anyway here's my take. First Simon is an ass but he's an honest ass. Ellen wouldn't know a good singer from a breeder bar. Whatever dog says she repeats or makes some lame ass joke. Kara needs a husband who can give her orgasm. Dave OUT!

I could not believe back in 2004 when Sandra Bullock married Jesse James, I just did not see that match. I came to terms thinking maybe it was sort of like when I saw the mom from little house on the prairie leave a set on the back of a motorcycle with a dude that looked like a father raper! Hey I drive a bike but I do still shower daily!

Here is a video of the Chick that Sandra's husband Jesse is cheating with!

What a catch, Huh!

Check out what this chick can do, I'm thinking Girlfriend!

Final thoughts, check these pics of an abandoned Six Flaggs it sort of makes me think of that NGC show Earth After People.

Please check today's Podcast!Thanks

Did you spring forward?

Well I hope so! Here in AZ we just stay the same, while everyone else changes. That's good because pressing these keys on the computer I have developed a small callas and I just don't know if I could have had the dexterity to change the alarm clock. Wow yesterday was stellar I mean unbelievable! Today looks though as if it will be the same. While I basked in the sun like Canadian tourist on a Florida beach in my hammock yesterday, I looked up at the sky sipped my diet wild cherry Pepsi and just lay in ah, in wonder of it all. The clouds floated by, I relaxed, cujo barked, I relaxed, the wind rustled through the trees, I relaxed and Hottie caught up on Y & R oh and by the way I relaxed. As I melted into the hammock my thoughts went to a favorite pass time that Hottie and I enjoy and have been waiting for the weather to warm before being able to go full tilt bozo into it! Sunday drives! We normally just hop in the Lee road machine and have at it! Exploring somewhere close by or down the a bit. Sometimes it's real primitive other times a little more provincial, and of course always extremely interesting. I threw together a quick vid of one such trip. I plan to make this a weekly event for those of you like such things. I didn't have time to add the narration this week, I will for next week. Please give me your input. Plus if some of you access my rhetoric via smart phone let me know. If the numbers are there by next week I'll add a mobile page to http;//radiofreedavidlee.com Thanks as always David Lee dave@radiofreedavidlee.com

USA vs Canada

We made it to March in todays VLOG I wanted to play the classic John Belushi - Chevy Chase weekend update from SNL but it is not available to steel on the net. So Long story short I don't have it, but here it is word for word;

Chevy Chase:
Last week we made the comment that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. Now here to reply is our chief meteorologist, John Belushi, with a seasonal report.
John Belushi: Thank you Chevy. Well, another winter is almost over and March true to form has come in like a lion, and hopefully will go out like a lamb. At least that's how March works here in the United States. But did you know that March behaves differently in other countries? In Norway, for example, March comes in like a polar bear and goes out like a walrus. Or, take the case of Honduras where March comes in like a lamb and goes out like a salt marsh harvest mouse. Let's compare this to the Maldive Islands where March comes in like a wildebeest and goes out like an ant. A tiny, little ant about this big.

[holds thumb and index fingers a small distance apart]

Unlike the Malay Peninsula where March comes in like a worm-eating fernbird and goes out like a worm-eating fernbird. In fact, their whole year is like a worm-eating fernbird. Or consider the Republic of South Africa where March comes in like a lion and goes out like a different lion. Like one has a mane, and one doesn't have a mane. Or in certain parts of South America where March swims in like a sea otter, and then it slithers out like a giant anaconda. There you can buy land real cheap, you know. And there's a country where March hops in like a kangaroo, and stays a kangaroo for a while, and then it becomes a slightly smaller kangaroo. Then, then, then for a couple of days it's sort of a cross between a, a frilled lizard and a common house cat.

[Chevy Chase tries to interrupt him]

Wait wait wait wait. Then it changes back into a smaller kangaroo, and then it goes out like a, like a wild dingo. Now, now, and it's not Australia! Now, now, you'd think it would be Australia, but it's not!

[Chevy Chase tries to interrupt him]

Now look, pal! I know a country where March comes in like an emu and goes out like a tapir. And they don't even know what it means! All right? Now listen, there are nine different countries, where March comes in like a frog, and goes out like a golden retriever. But that- that's not the weird part! No, no, the weird part is, is the frog. The frog- The weird part is- [has seizure and falls off chair] I also give a few thoughts about USA Canada Game (Hockey) Plus let's celebrate Roger Daltry's b day!

Here it is Daves very first VLOG!
